Queensland has recorded no new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, according to Queensland Premier Anastacia Palaszczuck.
Ms Palaszczuck is praising Queenslanders and health workers for the success.
According to health minister Yvette D’ath, over 8000 people remain in isolation because of contact with COVID-19 clusters.
