Victoria closes its borders to New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory as authorities try to stop the COVID-19 outbreak in Sydney.
Health authorities recorded 77 new cases in NSW yesterday and over hundred are expected today.
Red zone permits are available for Victorian residents and essential workers but anyone attempting to cross the Victorian border illegitimately will be fined just under $5000.
