An independent high school is being praised for its success in re-integrating disengaged students through alternative programs.
Arethusa College, in Deception Bay, is helping students who have previously struggled with mainstream learning to get the most out of their education.
Whilst they still teach the Australian curriculum, the college focuses on outdoor learning and small-scale passion projects that give the students lifelong skills.
