The United States President, Joe Biden, has said the US is facing the biggest threat to fair elections in its history as the Republican Party pushes to tighten voting laws and make it harder for Americans to vote.
Republican-led states, Georgia, Texas, and Florida have all proposed or are passing laws to limit postal ballots which were a contributing factor to Biden’s success in the 2020 Presidential election.
Biden stated that these laws will only make it easier for politicians to override the will of voters in their state and will take power away from independent election officials.
