Queensland has recorded one new locally acquired case of COVID-19, who was infected with the delta strain.
According to Premier Anastacia Palazczuck, this case had zero risk to the community as the woman was already in home quarantine.
This brought the total number of active cases in Queensland to 48.
Queensland also declared Victoria a hotspot, barring Victorians from entering Queensland starting at 1am Saturday.
