Over the next ten months City Cycle will be phased out of Brisbane to make way for an increase in electric bikes and e-scooters.

As users of the once popular City Cycle have diminished the council have made preparations since the start of the year to repeal the service. As of this morning it was announced that cycle station removals will begin commencement.

The announcement comes as newly introduced e-mobility business, Beam prepares to roll out their scooters across the city this week.
