India has recorded over forty five thousand cases of black fungus infection which has spread among COVID-19 patients.
The deadly infection which was classified as a rare disease has seen a rise during the pandemic and often targets patients recovering from COVID-19.
The black fungus infection death rate is fifty percent.
Back in May the Indian Government declared the infection as a pandemic after the case numbers had risen astronomically from the twenty cases per year before COVID-19.
