A Federal Court judge has denied the request of the Northern Territory government to have the financial settlement amount from its 2016 class-action lawsuit disclosed from the public.
The Northern Territory government sought a media suppression order on the settlement figure for the abuse of a number of young offenders at the Don Dale Youth Detention Centre, but Federal Court Justice Debra Mortimer ordered that it be made public on Monday
