The Chinese city of Wuhan has recorded its first local COVID-19 infections in over a year.
Seven new cases in the city have prompted Chinese authorities to start a city-wide coronavirus testing blitz in Wuhan where the disease was first detected in late 2019.
The positive cases are being investigated and are suspected to be the highly contagious Delta variant.
