New research shows Australia has fallen behind in overall clean energy transition, which is now worse than 23 other comparable countries.
The research, written by leading energy analyst Dr Hugh Saddler, says according to main indicators of decarbonisation and energy transmission, Australia ranks very poorly.
He further says Australia is back of the pack of developed countries, it is lagging and not leading the race to reduce emissions in our economy.
