Infectious diseases specialist Dr Paul Griffin has claimed that mask wearing restrictions will be around for years.
It comes after Queensland Health’s decision for Queenslanders to wear masks until August 22nd.
The current round of mask wearing has also forced high school students to wear masks at school for the first time and Dr Griffin said that people should get used to it.
“For years to come mask wearing is something people should all become accustomed to, for it to be an ingrained behaviour,” he said.
