An extension to Melbourne’s lockdown is expected to be announced at this morning's press conference after 20 locally acquired cases yesterday.
A majority were still active in the community during their infectious period and were mostly found in the western suburbs.
The Age reported that two Government officials said the Victorian Government plans to maintain the lockdown until they can distinguish whether the new cases had been in quarantine for their infectious periods before the lockdown can lift.
