Former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd is calling for Australia’s media watchdog to be abolished for failing to meet its responsibilities.
This comes as part of Mr Rudd’s pushback against Rupert Murdoch’s Sky News.
Mr Rudd says the Australian Media and Communications Authority has “monumentally failed” by not regulating Sky News’s misinformation around the pandemic.
