A trend emerging out of south east Queensland is seeing the humble backyard shed transformed from a storage solution into a recreation getaway amidst frequent lockdowns.
Dubbed the "She Shed" by some, a play on the term "Man Cave", the trend has led to an enormous growth of four hundred and fifty percent in the past twelve months.
Gold Coast resident Sally Wood and her partner transformed their backyard shed into a disco dance heaven and says, "We pretend it's going out, without going out. We can put the music on loud, we can dance and we can forget about what's going on in the world for a little bit.”
