With the final Queensland heat for the Brisbane Raw comedy festival on this weekend, contestants from all around Queensland are gearing up for the final next Sunday at 7pm.
Raw comedy has promoted some of the best aspiring Australian comedic talent throughout the years, with names such as Hannah Gadsby, Anne Edmonds and Aaron Chen getting their first shot at comedy
Raw, which is hosted by the Melbourne comedy festival, struggled last year with Covid having to cancel last year's finals, and lockdowns extending the dates for some of this year's remaining heats.
However, this means this weekend will showcase the best of not only this year’s talent but last year’s as well, and the winner of course will be moving on to compete with the best in Australia.
