From next Monday, the Queensland Government’s QR check in app will be mandatory for all taxis, limousines and rideshare operators.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has come to this decision after the recent COVID scare in Cairns, and the cause of Sydney’s ongoing outbreak.
Ms Palaszczuk says, “We expect cases could pop up from time to time and our job is to get onto them as quickly as possible".
