Yesterday’s protests at the Queensland and New South Wales border in Coolangatta reported more than 1000 participants.
There was only one Queensland arrest, but several in New South Wales.
Acting Chief Superintendent Rhys Wildman said while the general conduct of protestors was to be applauded, there will be further investigations into those who crossed the border.
