Queenslanders living with a disability will now be able to access a website for the latest advice and information on a range of support services.

The Minister for Families and Social Services, Anne Ruston, says the National Disability Gateway is a fast, easy to use and ‘one stop shop’ website.

“The disability gateway website has a search function that makes it particularly easy for people to find relevant information, and we’ve structured the gateway around 10 everyday topics, including transport, health and education. And it’s able to assist in a range of support, things like locating an advocacy service or finding a sporting team that meets the needs of the person’s disability.”
