Protesters with Extinction Rebellion blocked one of London’s busiest intersections Monday during the first day of planned protest actions.
The protesters set up a huge table in the middle of the street, with the intention of keeping it up for the full fortnight of protests.
Police presence was heavy, and 52 people were arrested in relation to the protests.
