Infectious diseases expert Dr Paul Griffin has predicted that coronavirus will eventually seep into virus-free states such as Queensland.
Griffin believes that while Queensland's state's border is being bolstered with ADF soldiers, eventually there will be another outbreak either via domestic borders or international hotel quarantine.
He says that fully vaccinating the majority of the population is the only solution.
