Queensland’s first 100% electric bus depot will be coming to North Lakes, with the first bus arriving next year.
Transport and Main Roads Minister Mark Bailey says the Australian-first electric bus depot will play an important role in Queensland’s Covid-19 economic recovery plan.
Deputy Premier Steven Miles says the investment into this new electric depot will provide over nearly 150 jobs and generate 17 million dollars into the economy for local suppliers and contractors, a much needed investment right now.
