Doctors have warned officials that the Hervey Bay Hospital is “overflowing” and is “extremely overcapacity”, and that they had called a Code Yellow 10 times in the month of August. 

Intensive Care Unit Doctor and Together Union delegate, Raju Pusapati, told the ABC, "There's not enough staff, allied health, nursing, medical staff to look after everybody. The emergency caseload is so much that the hospital is overflowing”.
