Scott Morrison is under fire after it was revealed that he jetted to Sydney during lockdown for Father’s Day while Aussie families remain separated.

The Prime Minister was granted an exemption to fly to Sydney from Canberra for Father’s Day aboard a taxpayer-funded VIP flight during lockdown, breaching protocols requiring those returning interstate from Sydney to isolate for 14 days.

The office for the Prime Minister was forced to release a statement after a Royal Australian Air Force business jet was identified by airplane enthusiasts as he left Canberra on Friday.
