A Chinese academic Chen Hong is accusing the Australian government of not being transparent about his Visa which was rejected on national security grounds.
This comes one year after the disclosure of an alleged plot by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to infiltrate New South Wales Parliament through the office of Labor backbencher Shaoquett Moselmane, using his former staffer John Zhang.
Mr Hong says he is sometimes critical of some of Australia's policies but his intention is to "eliminate misunderstanding".
