Vaccination teams will be sent to aged care homes to offer jabs to remaining unvaccinated workers.

Some regional aged care facilities are reporting more than half of their workers are unvaccinated.

Current public health orders require at least one dose of a vaccine.

The federal coronavirus taskforce reports 90.9% of the country's residential aged care workers had received at least one dose, which is up from 50% in August. Some 24,000 workers are still to be jabbed.
