Associate Professor Richard Robinson of the University of Queensland’s business school is investigating COVID 19’s impact on the Queensland tourism workforce.
After holding over 15 consultations across the state, Dr. Robinson aims to develop a crisis resilience and recovery plan to address the financial instability and labour shortages felt by tourism industries.
The most affected areas according to the study are marine and Indigenous tourism, especially localised in the tropical far north of the state
