The Queensland police have revealed that only 13.67 percent of calls made through the triple zero phone line are deemed emergencies.
Authorities are urging people to consider the seriousness of their calls via a new campaign. They are asking for callers with less urgent matters to call PoliceLink in an attempt to deter hoax calls.
