Singapore’s migrant workers have been put under strict rules restricting their movements.
This came after a surge in cases on the island, recording 2,236 new cases on Tuesday.
The migrant workers have been forbidden not only from travelling internationally, but also from mingling with the general population while employed in Singapore, and have been limited to visiting their places of employment and their dormitories.
