China has showcased new technology at the 2021 Zhuhai Airshow which is speculated to allow astronauts to land on the moon by around 2030.
The new Long March 9 super heavy lift rockets and other mission elements could be used to bring infrastructure to the moon as well as allow the astronauts safe return.
An initial test flight of the rocket technology is expected in 2028.
