Domestic Violence charity DV Safe Phone is calling for Australians to donate old mobile phones to people in need.

Throughout October, the charity hopes to receive over 1,000 working mobile phones to distribute to people in dangerous domestic situations as part of their one phone one life campaign

Ashton Wood who founded DV Safe Phone in 2020 says phones are often the first thing to be destroyed, taken, or monitored in a domestic violence situation leaving many with no way to call for help, and their charity aims to give these people a lifeline.
