Despite a net zero proposal from the government, Energy Minister Angus Taylor refuses to provide crucial details about newly revealed climate change plans.

Following Prime Minister Scott Morrisons’ unveiling of a new plan for net zero by 2050, critics have responded saying the budgeting only until 2030 falls far short of the necessary costs needed to reach net zero with Labor fiercely critical of the plan saying it fails to address current increases in short term emission reductions target.

Shadow Climate Change Minister Chris Bowen has accused Mr Taylor of failing to answer fundamental questions about the plan with “slipping and sliding”.
