Liberal MP Tim Smith has resigned after a drunk driving car collision.
The Liberal MP for Kew has apologised for crashing his car while more than twice the legal blood-alcohol limit admitting to a quote “serious error of judgement”.
Opposition Leader Matthew Guy, whom Mr Smith says he tendered his resignation from, says “I remain exceedingly angry and disappointed in Tim Smith's actions”.
