A new study released by the Real Facebook Oversight Board shows that the amount of climate misinformation on Facebook is increasing dramatically.
The study released on Thursday analysed a dataset of nine-hundred-and-ninety-five groups on Facebook which posted approximately eight-hundred-and-eighteen-thousand posts downplaying the severity of climate change.
Researcher Sean Buchan says that interactions with posts in this dataset have increased by 76.7 percent in the past year.
