The Bureau of Meteorology warns of more wet and wild weather for southern Queensland which is expected to last all week.

Heavy rainfall of up to 200 millimetres is forecast throughout the whole week with today being the wettest day across parts of the south-east, including Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Agricultural communities are also being urged to stay on alert, as heavy rainfall could cause "significant" crop damage.

Forecaster Jonathan How says the storms are likely to produce damaging winds, large hail and heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding.
