Paris Agreement architects have warned that COP-26 targets are too weak to prevent disastrous levels of global heating.
Experts say that in order to avoid exceeding the 1.5 degree level of warming, targets to cut greenhouse gas emissions need to be increased.
Current nationally determined contributions push the planet towards a rise in temperature by 2.4 degrees which could lead to disastrous impacts.
