Outback queensland has been seeing record rainfall, with areas recording up to 110 millimetres of rain in the past 48 hours.
These rains are record breaking, being the highest November falls in twenty two years.
Areas on the fringe of the Simpson desert have been living in drought since 2013 and locals say that rain this early in the year is a sign of a strong wet season ahead.
