Extinction Rebellion members staged a protest outside of Federal Finance Minister Simon Birmingham’s office this morning.
The South Australian environmental activists dumped a large pile of manure on the door of Birmingham’s office in a statement of discontentment with Australia’s contribution to the COP-26 meetings.
A spokesperson of XR Ben Brooker made a statement this morning, saying:
“The Government’s net-zero target is pure spin designed to shore up its re-election chances rather than meaningfully address the climate crisis.”
