Qatar Airways are being sued by a group of women who were subjected to invasive internal exams after a baby was found in a Doha airport.

Multiple women, including 13 Australian women, from 10 different flights say they were strip searched at Hamad International airport last October.

Lawyer Damien Sturzaker who is representing seven of the women said the legal action taken aims to “send a message to Qatari authorities that you cannot treat women… in this manner.”
