Gold Coast nurses say there is a huge gap in worker supply for caring for patients diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Currently, there are only two specialist nurses caring for those diagnosed with prostate cancer in the region.
Specialist prostate cancer nurse Roanee KC says there is a great need for an increase in specialist nurses in the area with 500 people diagnosed with prostate cancer a year on the Gold Coast.
