A Chinese navy ship was recently spotted off the east coast of Australia.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison said the government had been aware of the ship off the Australian coast, and no complaint would be made.
The ship travelled through Australia’s Exclusive Economic Zone, passing through the Torres Strait and down the eastern coastline, but did not cross into Australian Territorial Waters.
