The company who wants to build a new dump at Ipswich as part of a 200 million recycling centre will be called in by State Development Steven Miles as Ipswich City Council rejected the landfill but accepted the recycling centre.

Wanless Recyclers are now appealing the application in the Planning and Environment Court.

Mr Miles says the call in of the full Wanless application will require Wanless to demonstrate capacity in reducing waste to landfill.
