Following a Humans Rights Watch report earlier this week which documented more than 100 executions of former Afghanistan government officials, nations have condemned the Taliban regime in a joint statement. 

More than 22 nations demanded that the Taliban uphold its pledge not to harm former government officials, with the regime denying the allegations in a statement to the BBC. 

This follows an August report by Amnesty International have found numerous reports of targeted killings near Dahani Qul village with 11 former soldiers killed and 2 civilians.
