Hydrogen powered freight trains could be on the way as Queensland pursues more renewable energy options.
Minister for State Development Steven Miles says a feasibility study will determine “the potential deployment of… hydrogen power technology on the Moura Rail corridor and also the Mount Isa Rail corridor.”
Minister for Energy Renewables and Hydrogen Mick de Brenni says “The Palaszczuk Government welcomes today's announcement.”
