The United States have warned of Russia’s potential to attack Ukraine at any moment, as thousands of Russian troops have reportedly gathered on the Ukrainian border.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is currently in talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in an attempt to quell tensions, however the United States have stated that no option would be off the table in regards to a potential retaliation from the West.
Russia continues to insist they have no plans to invade Ukraine, eight years after conflict with sepratist rebels and the successful seizure of one province.
