Jackie Marshall is an independent songwriter, performer and recording artist who creates music in alternative contemporary genres, glancing across folk, country, rock, improvised and art music realms.
Noted for its distinctively personal and poetic writing style, Jackie’s 2006 cinematic alt-folk debut album Fight n' Flight (produced by Ben Tolliday) was short-listed for the Australian Music Prize. She has since released several critically acclaimed albums and participated in various projects including album production, composition for hybrid puppet theatre and circus, community engagement and mentorship.
