Detour offers a unique dining experience in the heart of Woolloongabba. Established in 2017, they offer modern contemporary share plates, with a unique omnivore and herbivore menu along with an Australian natural wine list and Australian spirits. Set in a chic industrial dining space, they wanted to create a unique dining experience that was progressive, thought provoking, conscientious, and all inclusive. To do this they've created a menu that is almost entirely gluten-free, split into an omnivore and herbivore selection. The herbivore section is completely plant based and sourcing sustainably produced proteins for the omnivore section. Their wine list consists of a selection small, biodynamic, organic, Australian producers showcasing the natural wine movement.
