This month, we’re highlighting our amazing reception coordinator, Shane Doidge as volunteer of the month!
Shane has been a part of the Zed family since the 70s and 80s! In the past two years, he started coming into the station to volunteer: packing and posting in Radiothon, then helping with Hot 100 voting and now is our reception coordinator!
Shane dedicated so much time to make sure our reception doors stay open 6 days a week, our 4ZZZ subscriptions and merch orders are processed and brings so much warm inner glow to our hallways.
In April, we had so many volunteer opportunities pop up from working door, merch, social media, and artist liaison at 4ZZZ events including the From The Roots Carpark Gig and 4ZZZ Youth Week Show. We also had a callout to join the Live Reviews team. If writing about local gigs is something you dig, it was a perfect opportunity.
