After years of silence, rumours and “will it ever happen?” - Yes. It is real. Dead of Winter Festival returns to Brisbane on Saturday 27 June 2026 at Mansfield Tavern.
Over the years, Dead of Winter has become more than a music event. It has evolved into a full-scale celebration of alternative culture, uniting heavy music across multiple stages with performance art, horror cosplay, dark markets, visual installations and immersive experiences. Always loud. Always theatrical. Always welcoming and above all, always super fun and super safe.
With performances from DZ Deathrays (QLD), Mammal (VIC), Jay and Lindsay of Frenzal Rhomb (NSW), Beanflipper (VIC), Toe to Toe (NSW), Lo! (NSW), Slim Krusty (VIC), The Neptune Power Federation (NSW) and Nicolas Cage Fighter (VIC) to name a few!
4ZZZ will be at the event selling merch so be sure to grab some 4ZZZ treasures, say hi to our volunteers and catch some amazing live music.
