Apart from some 1500 pub gigs they have played at many community events including at Sydney Airport to 6,000 workers stranded when Ansett collapsed, Peace Rallies in Sydney and Brisbane, No Racism, No War Rally to 50,000 people in the Domain, Corroboree Sovereignty for indigenous rights in Canberra, refugee rights, May Day celebrations of workers rights, National Aboriginal and Islander Day of Celebration and the Hiroshima Day Rally. They have also played for the M1 Alliance, S11 in Melbourne, NAIDOC, Greenpeace, the Australian Conservation Foundation, the Wilderness Society and the “Rock the Block” reconciliation concert in Redfern in 2006. In April 2007 they played to 40,000 people at the SCG in the Rock for Rights concert along with You Am I, the Hoodoo Gurus, Something for Kate, Missy Higgins, Kev Karmody, Screaming Jets and Youth Group. From October 2006 through to April 2007 the band toured outback and regional SA, NT, Victoria and NSW supported by Music NSW and federal government TRACKS funding. In May 2010 the Urban Guerillas played at the Vanguard Hotel with the Hansome Young Strangers, Kate Fagan, Wheelers & Dealers, Steph Miller and Sydney City Trash to pay tribute to the life and music of Alistair Hulett. In November 2010 the Guerillas played at Darling harbour to celebrate Australian Music Day.
