On Sunday, Queensland Communities and Housing Minister Leeanne Enoch announced the state Government had purchased a 30-unit complex at Clayfield to provide affordable and social housing for older adults in the midst of an overall housing shortage across the state.
I spoke with Associate Professor in Geography at the University of Queensland, Dr Thomas Sigler, to find out what plans like this mean for housing affordability and availability across the state.
